Do gift recipients actually receive real gold or silver?
Yes! Every Giftabull gift is .999 physical 24 karat gold or fine silver sourced from trusted licensed U.S. suppliers.
The precious metals are securely packaged in a beautiful keepsake treasure chest and delivered to the gift recipient along with a personalized message and a QR code to register the gift in the app.
Can I buy and send gifts directly through the app?
Absolutely! You can purchase gold or silver right inside the Giftabull app, add a custom message, and send them in premium keepsake packaging. Recipients then claim their gift by scanning the QR code in the box, and downloading the app to track and learn within the app.
How is the value of the gold or silver determined?
The value shown in the app is based on the current market spot price of gold and silver.
This helps users, parents or guardians, as well as children see how the value of their physical gold and silver can change over time, promoting real-world financial understanding. Their precious metal gifts will have real value, however the app use is for educational purposes only.
Can I sell the gifts I've collected at a later time?
Yes! Because the gift includes physical gold or silver, you can keep it, collect it, or sell it later if you choose. Keep in mind: resale value can vary based on market price, buyer premiums/discounts, and any selling fees—so it’s smart to understand your selling options. Keep in mind, Giftabull does not purchase any precious metals. If you decide to sell your precious metals, you must do it on your own. Any sold gifts can be deleted on the app to keep your precious metal vault up to date however.
Does Giftabull offer financial or investment advice?
No. Giftabull does not provide financial, tax, or investment advice of any kind.
The app is designed purely for educational and gifting purposes, helping families teach children about value, saving, and smart financial habits in a fun, simple way.
Will the sender of gifts be able to see the dashboard information of gift recipients?
No. Only the account holder (or a parent/guardian managing a child’s account) can view that account’s purchases and total holdings. Gift-givers can only see what they purchased—nothing else.
Do I need to be a premium member in order to send gifts or receive a gift from someone?
No. Basic members can purchase gifts for anyone, however, without a premium subscription they will incur a service fee for each purchase. Basic members can receive an unlimited amount of gifts, however they can only track one and add one additional household member. To track all gifts for all members of the household they must upgrade to a premium membership.
What is included in the keepsake packaging of each gift?
Each gift arrives in a keepsake packaging with your custom message on a card, the physical gold or silver piece (in a small wooden treasure chest), and a scannable QR code to claim the gift in the app. The box is ready to be given to your loved one as is. No need to spend money on gift wrapping or greeting cards.
